Tijdens mijn textiel lessen hoorde ik vaak dat de textielindustrie een van de meest vervuilende sectoren ter wereld is. Dit wekte mijn interesse en bracht me aan het denken: waarom is deze industrie zo schadelijk voor het milieu? Wat zijn de grootste problemen, en kunnen we hier iets aan doen? Ik wil graag ontdekken of er duurzame alternatieven zijn en welke oplossingen kunnen bijdragen aan een milieuvriendelijke textielindustrie.
Textile Waste
During my textile classes, I often heard that the textile industry is one of the most polluting sectors in the world. This sparked my interest and made me wonder: why is this industry so harmful to the environment? What are the biggest problems, and is there anything we can do about them? I want to explore whether sustainable alternatives exist and which solutions could contribute to an environmentally friendly textile industry.
